[Noun + の/Plain form] + おかげで

先生のおかげで、試験に合格できました。

Sensei no okage de, shiken ni goukaku dekimashita.

Thanks to my teacher, I was able to pass the exam.

天気が良かったおかげで、楽しい旅行になった。

Tenki ga yokatta okage de, tanoshii ryokou ni natta.

Thanks to the good weather, it became a fun trip.

Only for positive outcomes. For negative, use せいで.

～てもいいです

may do ~, it's okay to do ~

～てはいけません

must not do ~, not allowed to do ~

～なければなりません

must do ~, have to do ~
