Examples

嬉しさのあまり、泣いてしまった。

Ureshisa no amari, naite shimatta.

I was so happy that I cried.

心配するあまり、眠れなかった。

Shinpai suru amari, nemurenakatta.

I worried so much that I couldn't sleep.
