Formation

[Verb dictionary form/ない form] + ことになる

Examples

来月から東京で働くことになりました。

Raigetsu kara Toukyou de hataraku koto ni narimashita.

It has been decided that I'll work in Tokyo from next month.

会議は中止になることになった。

Kaigi wa chuushi ni naru koto ni natta.

It was decided that the meeting would be cancelled.
