[Verb ない-stem] + んがために

夢を実現せんがために、努力を続けた。

Yume wo jitsugen sen ga tame ni, doryoku wo tsuzuketa.

In order to realize my dream, I continued to work hard.

勝たんがために、あらゆる手段を使った。

Katan ga tame ni, arayuru shudan wo tsukatta.

In order to win, I used every means possible.

Very literary/formal. する → せん, Classical negative stem + ん.

～ならいざ知らず

~ might be one thing, but; leaving ~ aside

earnestly wish/hope, never stop ~ing

not being daunted by ~, in spite of ~
