Expresses strong conviction or certainty about something.

[Noun/な-adj stem/い-adj/Verb plain] + に違いない

彼は日本人に違いない。

Kare wa nihonjin ni chigainai.

He must be Japanese.

この料理は美味しいに違いない。

Kono ryouri wa oishii ni chigainai.

This dish must be delicious.

Different from はずだ which is based on logical reasoning.
