Doing something additionally while doing the main action.

Formation

[Verb dictionary/た form/Noun + の] + ついでに

Examples

買い物のついでに、郵便局に寄った。

Kaimono no tsuide ni, yuubinkyoku ni yotta.

While I was out shopping, I stopped by the post office.

散歩するついでに、パンを買ってきて。

Sanpo suru tsuide ni, pan wo katte kite.

While you are going for a walk, buy some bread.
