[Noun] + かたがた

お礼かたがた、ご挨拶に伺いました。

Orei katagata, goaisatsu ni ukagaimashita.

I came to greet you while also expressing thanks.

散歩かたがた、買い物に行く。

Sanpo katagata, kaimono ni iku.

I'll go shopping while taking a walk.

Very formal, often used in letters.

～かたわら

while, besides, in addition to

～ならいざ知らず

~ might be one thing, but; leaving ~ aside

～てやまない

earnestly wish/hope, never stop ~ing

～をものともせずに

not being daunted by ~, in spite of ~

～んがため(に)
